RETURN/REFUND POLICY

We take great care in packing our gift hampers to try and prevent any damage occurring in transit. In the unlikely event that your gift arrives damaged, please contact Aspen & Birch immediately by emailing orders@aspenandbirch.com.au with your name, order number and a photo of the damaged item(s) and we will make arrangements for the product(s) to be returned to us, and either replaced or refunded.  All returns are only at the discretion of Aspen & Birch management, and will only be valid if we have provided you with written approval to return the items.  Any returns received without written approval will not be replaced or refunded. All items that have been approved for return will need to be returned in their original unopened packaging.   Due to the nature of the items in our hampers, unfortunately we are unable to refund or exchange for ‘change-of-mind’ purchases.

 

CANCELLING/CHANGING ORDER

Once your order has been placed, it joins the queue to be packed and dispatched as soon as possible.  Should you need to change/cancel the gift, please get in contact immediately by emailing orders@aspenandbirch.com.au . Aspen & Birch do NOT accept responsibility for a change of mind or a cancellation request, and are not obligated to cancel the order. However, if the goods have not been packed and dispatched, we will endeavour to assist if possible. If the goods have been packed and dispatched, we are unable to assist in changing or cancelling the order.

 

LIABILITY

Some circumstances such as a gift not delivered on time, arrives damaged from transit or is lost, are rare but can happen. Refer to our Returns Policy regarding products damaged in transit. Aspen & Birch will not be in any way responsible or liable for any losses, damages, costs or other issues that may arise concerning courier and postal delivery services due to a delay in delivery.

 

DELIVERY

Due to Covid-19 and other events, there have been widespread delays in postal and courier services providing delivery, making it impossible to guarantee normal delivery times.  Please order your gift hamper in advance where possible to reduce the possibility of the gift being delayed in transit, or select the Express Post option. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

We do not offer international shipping at this time, due to the nature of our goods.

Our shipping costs are at a fixed rate Australia wide – this means there are no hidden surprises at checkout. All hampers will be sent with a tracking number which will be sent to you once the parcel is on its way to the recipient.  In the event no one is home and there is a safe place to leave the gift, the courier or postman has the Authority to Leave (ATL). If not, the postman will leave a card for the recipient to pick it up at the nearest Post Office. Please note that any hampers including alcohol will be sent with the Signature on Delivery option, as these gifts must be signed for due to liquor regulations.

Aspen & Birch offer the following shipping options:

Standard via Australia Post – $19.95 per hamper (Australia Posts regular parcel service delivers in 2 or more business days. Delivery times will vary depending where the recipient is located. Please refer to the Australia Post website for more information on delivery times)

Express Post via Australia Post – $29.95 per hamper (Next business day delivery is only available within the Express Post next business day delivery network. Please note that Express Post is not a guaranteed next day service. Please refer to the Australia Post website for more information on delivery times)

Should you require the gift to be delivered within metro WA urgently, please contact us at orders@aspenandbirch.com.au and we will provide you with a quote for a same day courier service, providing you have contacted us before 12pm on the day the gift is to be delivered.

Please note: It is the responsibility of the purchaser to provide accurate contact details and delivery addresses for each gift hamper. Should a gift be returned to sender, we will charge a return fee and also an additional delivery fee to resend the item to the revised address provided to us by you. If payment or acknowledgment is not received within 7 days, or if we do not receive a reply with revised shipping address details, the gifts will be disassembled.

 

SUBSTITUTION OF PRODUCTS

In the unlikely event that an individual product in a gift hamper is unavailable, we will substitute it with a similar product of equal or greater value. If you prefer we do not do this, please make a note in the comments section during checkout.

 

BESPOKE HAMPERS

If you are interested in selecting specific products for a hamper from other hampers seen on this website, we are more than happy to accommodate this for you – simply send an email to orders@aspenandbirch.com.au with the names or descriptions of desired products, and we will organise a quote for you.
